The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is pleased to announce the recipients of the Behavioral Health County and Tribal Planning Request for Application (RFA) funding opportunity from the Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP). This round of funding is intended to support preparation activities to plan for the acquisition and expansion of behavioral health infrastructure throughout the state.
This initial planning grant funding of over $1.9 million will be distributed to 14 grantees consisting of 9 tribal entities and 5 county behavioral health agencies throughout California.
